My great-grandfather, James Churchward wrote a series of books on the Lost Continent of Mu. Beginning in the late 1920s. His books stated that the now-lost Pacific continent of Mu maintained a high level of civilization and colonies around the world. He also stated that Mu was the birthplace of the human race and that cataclysmic events sunk Mu beneath the waves thousands of years ago. There is a lot of data available on the subject in these pages, the Interactive Media.
